Products
High manganese and alloy steel castings, made to customer drawings and to national and international specifications.
We cast what your equipment needs, not what is on a shelf.
Pattern, grade, hardness range and machining allowance are set against your drawing. Where you are not sure of the grade, tell us the duty and the failure mode you are seeing and we will recommend one.
Six families of castings.

Crusher wear parts
Jaw plates and cheek plates, cone mantles and concaves, blow bars, hammers, impact and breaker bars, grizzly bars, feeder pans.

Mill and kiln components
Ball and rod mill liners, diaphragm and grate plates, lifter bars, kiln and cooler grate plates, chute and hopper liners, wear plates.

Track and rolling stock
Crossings and frogs, check rail assemblies, sleeper and bogie components, coupler and draft gear castings to railway specifications.

Ground engaging tools
Bucket teeth and adapters, dipper and dredge teeth, lip shrouds, side cutters, ripper points, wear runners, dragline components.

Heat and corrosion resistant
Furnace fixtures, trays, grids, skid rails, radiant tubes, quench baskets and sinter plant components for sustained high-temperature duty.

Structural castings
Pump and valve bodies, gear and sprocket blanks, coupling halves, housings, brackets and heavy structural castings.
Grades we pour.
Where a customer specification differs from a published standard, the customer specification governs.

Availability depends on section thickness, quantity and heat treatment route. Confirm the exact specification with our engineering team at enquiry stage.
What fits through the plant.
These are the practical limits set by our melting, moulding, heat treatment and machining equipment. Parts outside them can often be split, cast and assembled (worth asking).
5 kg to approximately 10,000 kg poured weight
- 6-10 weeks on repeat patterns
- 12-16 weeks where new pattern work is needed
- Pouring
- Bottom-pour ladles 5, 10 and 15 MT; tilting ladles 300 kg, 500 kg, 2 MT
- Moulding
- Two-part no-bake finotech resin sand, PLC-controlled mixing
- Heat treatment
- 5 MT and 15 MT batch solution annealing with water quench
- Machining
- Vertical boring to 1200 mm spindle diameter, milling, planing, shaping, drilling
- Surface
- Shot blasting on a 1.5 m table, grinding, pneumatic chipping
Where the castings end up.
Send a drawing. We will tell you if it suits our plant.
Give us the part, the grade and the annual volume. You get feasibility, a grade recommendation where you need one, a price and a lead time you can plan around.
